PRESSURE VESSELS

Pressure Vessels are an important part of the Group's activities. SHBV COCHRAN has wide experience in the design and manufacture of Pressure Vessels in many materials for the petrochemical, pharmaceutical and cryogenic industries.

Carbon steel vessels are a specialty of SHBV and typical products are columns, separators, drums and accumulators for the chemical, petrochemical and water industries.

The company's workshops are fully equipped with the latest submerged arc and MIG welding equipment and produce high quality products to BS 5500, ASME VIII and other codes.

The SHBV manufacturing facility has the capability to manufacture vessels weighing up to 160 tonnes, having a maximum thickness of 100mm and lengths of 150'0" (50 metres).

Vessels in excess of 5 metre diameter can be manufactured in the company's workshops which have unrestricted access to the national road network. The geographical location of Lincoln makes it ideally suited for deliveries to the major United Kingdom East Coast Ports.

Designed and constructed to all international codes, vessels such as columns separators, drums and accumulators can be manufactured subject only to transport restrictions.

General heavy fabrications in a wide range of materials up to 100mm thick are also within the Company's capability
